The newly introduced Global Accelerating Program Exclusively for Women Entrepreneurs this year targets women entrepreneurs, including participants of the 'Women Startup Competition,' who wish to expand overseas. It provides export education and consulting, and supports global promotion and overseas market development for entrepreneurs with high potential for overseas expansion.
Practical training will select 1,000 teams, and consulting will select 70 teams. Among these, companies with high potential for overseas expansion will be selected to receive support for promotion (20 teams) and overseas market development (10 teams).
Shin Jae-kyung, head of the Corporate Environment Policy Division at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, “RoboArte, which won the grand prize at the 2021 Women Startup Competition, has recently succeeded in both export and investment attraction, growing into a global company,” adding, “We hope this program will provide a foothold for many women entrepreneurs to expand overseas.”
