Uljin-gun Holds Kickoff Meeting for Local Win-Win Cooperation on Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4 Construction Project

Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Son Byeong-bok) held a kickoff meeting on the 12th at the county office video conference room with Uljin-gun, Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, and Hyundai Consortium to discuss regional win-win cooperation related to Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4.

Uljin County held a kickoff meeting for the regional win-win cooperation project related to the construction of Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4.

Presided over by the Director of the Nuclear Energy Office, the meeting discussed the participation of local companies based in Uljin-gun in the construction of Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4, prioritizing the purchase of equipment, materials, and goods from local companies, actively using local restaurants and accommodations, and giving priority to hiring local residents.

The county plans to continue its efforts for win-win cooperation to greatly contribute to the development of Uljin-gun and the revitalization of the local economy through the construction of Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4.

Ahn Chun-seop, Director of the Nuclear Energy Office, stated, “This meeting marks an important milestone as the first step toward regional win-win cooperation related to the Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4 construction project,” adding, “We will continuously communicate and strive to produce better results to help the local community develop.”
