Busan Employment and Labor Office and Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Busan Headquarters Hold Meeting to Expand Participation in 'Industrial Safety Diagnosis'

The Busan Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency held a current issue meeting on the 14th in the agency's 6th-floor conference room to expand participation in the Industrial Safety Diagnosis and reduce accidents and fatalities in the jurisdiction.

On the 14th, the Busan Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency held a current issue meeting on industrial safety diagnosis in the conference room on the 6th floor of the Industrial Complex.

At this meeting, which discussed the progress and improvements of the Industrial Safety Diagnosis, a tailored support project for establishing safety and health management systems to minimize confusion among small and medium-sized enterprises due to the expanded enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, it was agreed to operate a concentrated diagnosis week to visit 6,370 sites in the Busan area and actively encourage participation in the diagnosis.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the agency plan to intensify promotion through electronic display boards, banners, broadcasts, and campaigns while conducting the Industrial Safety Diagnosis intensively until April. They will also encourage participation via on-site visits, TV, and other means to ensure that small and medium-sized enterprises can establish safety and health management systems by focusing all their capabilities.
