Eco-friendly Detergent Specialist Brand Sugarbubble Enters Coffee Market

Sugar Bubble, an eco-friendly detergent brand led by CEO Seong Hayong, has established a new coffee division and entered the coffee distribution market. According to the company, Sugar Bubble is the only lifestyle goods company that directly sources green coffee beans and sells roasted coffee beans.

Sugar Bubble attracted attention by announcing the recruitment of Ryu Jongwon, the head of Ryubins Coffee, who directly visits coffee farms to import green coffee beans.

Ryu Jongwon is an expert certified as a Q-GRADER, an international qualification for evaluating the quality of green beans and grading coffee based on taste and aroma, and he also serves as a judge for the Korean national coffee team.

He was officially appointed as a judge for the '2023 Korea Coffee Roasting Championship (KCRC)' by the SCA Korea Chapter, the Korean office of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the world's largest specialty coffee association formed by the merger of the American Coffee Association and the European Coffee Association, further raising expectations.

Meanwhile, Sugar Bubble, which has been actively promoting various eco-friendly products such as kitchen detergents and laundry detergents through its exclusive model Lee Chanwon, plans to secure competitiveness in the coffee division by entering the specialty coffee sector through collaboration with KCRC (Korea Coffee Roasting Champion).

Green coffee bean sales will begin for general consumers on March 12 through the Naver Smart Store 'Ryubins Coffee,' and roasted coffee bean sales are also planned to start from May.
