Measures such as Imposing Fines and Reporting to the National Tax Service for Up-Down Contracts and False Actual Transaction Reports
On the 13th, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do announced that starting from the 18th, it will conduct a special investigation into suspected false real estate transaction reports and illegal brokerage activities.
The investigation, which will continue until June, targets ▲those who falsely report real estate transaction prices (creating up/down contracts) ▲suspected false real transaction reports without monetary transactions ▲suspected unregistered brokerage and illegal activities by licensed brokers. The city plans to conduct investigations through various methods such as summoning and on-site visits if the explanation materials received from the transaction parties are insufficient.
The city will impose fines up to 5% of the real estate acquisition price, with a maximum of 30 million KRW, depending on the violation. Additionally, suspected tax evaders will be reported to the National Tax Service.
Meanwhile, the city will provide rewards to those who report illegal real estate transactions. The reporting targets include false transaction price reports and false reports without monetary transactions, and reports can be made to the Land Civil Affairs Division of the city hall.
Kwon Soon-gwang, head of the Land Civil Affairs Division of Anseong-si, said, "Through this special investigation, we will prevent illegal real estate transactions and establish a fair and transparent real estate transaction order."
