Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is recruiting participants for the "3rd Gwangjin-gu Youth Network."

This initiative aims to listen to diverse voices and encourage participation in district administration to activate exchanges among young people by discovering policies for the younger generation.

The Youth Network, started in 2020, provides social participation opportunities for youth to promote the rights, development, and quality of life of the younger generation. It is a youth participation program that discovers youth policies and creates youth culture together within the region.

The recruitment target is young people aged 19 to 39 who meet one of the following criteria: ▲registered residents of Gwangjin-gu ▲students enrolled at universities located in Gwangjin-gu ▲those active in local organizations or whose workplace or business is located in Gwangjin-gu. Those participating for the purpose of supporting a specific political party or religion or for profit are excluded.

Selected youth will begin full activities from May and serve as Gwangjin-gu Youth Network members for two years until April 2026, voicing their opinions. The network is organized into five divisions: job economy, education and culture, housing and health, social safety net, and low birthrate and aging. Members will participate in district administration through various fields such as resident participation budgeting, youth policy idea contests, workshops, and performance sharing sessions.

The application period is from the 12th to April 12th. After document screening, a total of 40 members, including reappointed members, will be selected. Applications can be submitted via email or in person by attaching the application form, consent form for personal information collection, and supporting documents.
