Three-term lawmaker Han won against Heo In-gu, former director of G1 Broadcasting, and first-term lawmaker Kang won against Lee Jae-man, former mayor of Dong-gu, Daegu Dong-gu Gunwi-eul constituency, after a runoff vote. Kim, secretary to Han Dong-hoon, emergency committee chairman, also defeated Kim Ui-seung, former Seoul City Administrative Deputy Mayor. First-term lawmaker Lee Yong, who is part of the pro-Yoon (pro-Yoon Seok-yeol) faction, secured the nomination in Gyeonggi Hanam Gap and will face former Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae.
In the Seoul Jung-Seongdong primary, incumbent lawmaker Ha Tae-kyung lost to former lawmaker Lee Hye-hoon. Ha, who served three consecutive terms in Busan Haeundae Gap, voluntarily moved to a challenging district but failed to pass the final stage. Ha protested, saying, "I demand Chairman Han to disclose the primary raw data," and added, "I believe the opinion poll was conducted fairly, but the mathematical results are hard to believe."
In Busan Seo-Dong-gu, a three-way primary resulted in no majority vote, leading to a two-day runoff between Kim In-gyu, former presidential office administrator and grandson of former President Kim Young-sam, and lawyer Kwak Gyu-taek.
Additionally, Seo Jeong-hyun, former head of the Ansan Danwon party committee, was nominated for Ansan-si Eul in Gyeonggi; Jang Seok-hwan, professor of Smart Construction Environment Engineering at Daejin University, for Goyang-si Eul; and Han Gil-ryong, former party committee head, for Paju-si Eul. In Gimhae Gap, Gyeongnam, Park Seong-ho, former deputy governor of Gyeongnam Province, won the final primary.
