HD Hyundai Infracore Develon, Title Sponsorship of Women's Football League

HD Hyundai Infracore's construction machinery brand 'DEVELON' has become the official sponsor of the Korea Women's Football League this year.

On the 12th, HD Hyundai Infracore held a 2024 WK League title sponsorship agreement ceremony with the Korea Women's Football Federation at the Global Business Center (GBC) in Dong-gu, Incheon, and announced that the official name of this year's tournament will be 'DEVELON WK League 2024.'

A total of 8 teams will participate in the 'DEVELON WK League 2024,' which will start with the opening match on the 16th of this month and continue for 28 rounds until November. As the title sponsor, HD Hyundai Infracore will conduct various outdoor advertisements and promotions throughout the league period.

Jo Young-chul, President of HD Hyundai Infracore, said, "Although global attention to women's football is increasing, the women's football league in our country is being neglected. We will help secure the league's competitiveness so that women's football in South Korea can develop as a whole."

Meanwhile, at the agreement ceremony, the Korea Women's Football Federation appointed Dayoung, a member of the girl group WJSN, as the league's promotional ambassador. Dayoung has participated in various activities such as appearing on football entertainment programs and performing the ceremonial first pitch at Ulsan HD home games.
