On the 11th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it secured the largest amount of specialized job creation project funds among local autonomous districts.
Buk-gu was selected in the “2024 Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Autonomous District Specialized Project” contest hosted by Gwangju Metropolitan City, securing 290 million KRW in city funds.
The selected projects include ▲ the “Integrated Care Specialist Training Course (Education and Training Field),” which operates a specialized care education program for women with career interruptions and connects them to employment ▲ the “Industry Site Close Contact Good Job Matching (Employment Connection Field),” which customizes connections between recruiting companies and job seekers centered around industrial complexes ▲ and the “Living Innovation Enjoy Program in Gwangju (Enterprise Support Field),” which provides customized support for early-stage startups with innovative business items to enter the market.
Buk-gu plans to complete the business agreement procedures with the city and project executing organizations within this month, and then actively proceed with the projects by promptly investing the secured city funds and approximately 30 million KRW in matching district funds.
