Im Jong-seok Declares White Army Support for the Previous Committee... "If Lee Jae-myung Wavers, the Democratic Party Will Collapse"

"I don't want titles, ceremonies, or formalities...
Traveling nationwide to comfort wounded Democratic Party members"

Former Presidential Secretary Im Jong-seok, who was excluded (cut off) from the Democratic Party of Korea's National Assembly election candidate nomination, stated on the 11th that "we must break through centered on Representative Lee Jae-myung."

On the same day, Im posted on social media, "D-30, now is no time to look back," adding, "This general election is a vote to evaluate and decisively judge the Yoon Seok-yeol administration's governance. The victory of the Democratic Party, the opposition's victory, and the people's victory is the judgment."

Previously, Im had declared his candidacy for the general election in Jung-gu and Seongdong-gu Gap but did not receive the party's nomination due to the party's strategic nomination policy. After much consideration, he announced his acceptance of the party's decision.

Regarding this, he wrote, "I accept the party's decision. Further division means mutual destruction. I will serve quietly to judge the Yoon Seok-yeol administration. These three are the entirety of my resolution," adding, "We must break through centered on Representative Lee Jae-myung. If Lee Jae-myung wavers, the Democratic Party will collapse."

He said, "From now on, there is no pro-Lee or anti-Lee faction," and "I urge everyone to put aside their pain and unite centered on Representative Lee Jae-myung."

Having officially joined the election committee, he said, "I do not want any titles, protocol, or formalities," and "I will travel across the country to comfort the wounded Democratic Party members and speak hope again to the people exhausted by the broken daily life."

He continued, "I will serve quietly for the Democratic Party of Kim Dae-jung, which was protected even after a death sentence, for the Democratic Party of Roh Moo-hyun, which called for national unity while melting the bitter cold, and for the Democratic Party of Moon Jae-in, which was launched by the people's candlelight protests for a 'country worthy of the name'."
