Silla University I-URP Project Group Signs Family Company Agreement with Pet Care Company 'Woorijip Cheotjae'

Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) I-URP Project Group signed a family company agreement with the pet care company ‘Woorijip Cheotjae’.

On the morning of the 6th at 11 a.m., at the Shilla University I-URP Project Group, Bae Il-kwon, head of the I-URP Project Group, and Jung Won-woo, CEO of Woorijip Cheotjae, along with key officials from both organizations, attended a family company agreement ceremony to foster professional talent development and promote the advancement of both institutions.


On this day, both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate in ▲exchange of new technologies and field information in education, research, and industry-academia cooperation ▲joint technology development, field personnel exchange, and participation in special lectures ▲joint activities using facilities, equipment, and materials of both institutions ▲curriculum and technology exchange meetings, family company joint sports events, and joint workshops ▲providing scholarships, field training, internships, and employment opportunities for students.


Jung Won-woo, CEO of Woorijip Cheotjae, said, “I am grateful to establish a family company agreement with Shilla University I-URP Project Group through this good relationship,” adding, “We will strive for the development of the pet industry through student talent development programs that enable mutual growth between the two institutions.”


Bae Il-kwon, head of the Shilla University I-URP Project Group, stated, “I believe this agreement is a great opportunity not only for Shilla University I-URP Project Group and Woorijip Cheotjae but also for students in related departments,” and added, “I hope this will be the starting point for smooth human and material exchanges using the Jisanhak Pet Park and Animal Behavior Correction Training Center.”


The Shilla University I-URP Project Group, supported by Busan City, is the first in the nation to establish the ‘Busan City Jisanhak Pet Park and Animal Behavior Correction Training Center’ on the university campus and is working to revitalize the pet industry and create a related educational environment by operating shared offices for companies related to the pet industry.
