Inspection of Military Medical Service Gap Response Measures Led by Son Byung-bok, Head of the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters
The Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters of Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, held a meeting on the 6th, chaired by the headquarters chief, to respond to the medical service gap crisis, during which they reviewed and inspected the current status of measures being implemented by the county.
About 30 people attended the meeting, including Son Byeong-bok, head of the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, the deputy chief, the integrated coordinator, and eight working groups. They shared the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters meeting presided over by the President and the provincial disaster headquarters meeting, and proceeded with reports from each working group of our county's disaster headquarters.
In particular, in-depth discussions were held on the step-by-step medical service gap response plan reported by the head of the public health center, and there was consensus on strengthening public awareness to wisely overcome the medical crisis.
Son Byeong-bok, the county governor, urged, “In preparation for the prolonged medical service gap, please ensure that medical measures are carried out without fail, and conduct thorough on-site safety inspections in advance to prevent safety accidents at construction sites and other locations.”
Uljin-gun has been operating the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, led by Governor Son since February 26, to cope with the medical service gap, and no cases of medical service gaps have occurred so far.
