The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Public Crime Investigation Unit announced on the 8th, "We are currently verifying the circumstances surrounding the creation of the document."

On the previous day, an online community, DC Inside, posted a document containing instructions to create a blacklist of residents who did not participate in the collective resignation, bearing the KMA president’s official seal.

The document stated that the purpose was "to pressure those who did not participate," and included details about notifying the list’s creation and distribution through a specific social networking service (SNS). Additionally, it contained instructions to submit resignation letters to affiliated workplaces and to generate opposing public opinion, along with the KMA president’s official seal.

In response, the KMA Emergency Response Committee said, "The document is clearly false, and we have confirmed that the KMA president’s official seal used in it was forged," adding, "We will proceed with a criminal complaint for forgery of a private document and dissemination of false information, and demand strict punishment for the perpetrator."
