Hans Biomed (CEO Geun-Young Kim) announced on the 7th that on the 6th, they visited the World Vision Songpa Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, where employees from the group directly participated in volunteering by preparing and delivering ‘Hans Dream Boxes’ (worth approximately 5 million KRW) containing backpacks and school supplies for children from low-income families in the area.
This activity was organized to support the start of the new school term for children from low-income families in the community. On that day, employees of Hans Biomed group assembled the ‘Hans Dream Boxes’ including backpacks, notebooks, writing instruments, and pencil cases needed for the new semester. In particular, the employees added special meaning by writing handwritten letters filled with dreams and hopes to the children receiving the gifts and delivering them together.
Since 2022, Hans Biomed has been continuously conducting employee volunteer activities through the World Vision Songpa Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, including kimchi-making volunteer work, food support, and first aid kit donations.
A Hans Biomed representative stated, “We hope that the handwritten letters and school supplies delivered to the children, though small, became a great encouragement and strength,” and added, “Hans Biomed will continue to steadily carry out volunteer work and support for marginalized groups in the local community.”
