[Featured Stock] ASIC Land, Arm's 'Kok' Picked Partner... AI Semiconductor Competitiveness Upward Trend ↑

Aizic Land is showing strong performance. The news that Aizic Land, an official Arm design partner, has been selected as a partner for the ‘Arm Total Design’ program appears to be influencing its stock price. The company has signed a license agreement for Arm and Neoverse Computing Subsystem (CSS) design assets (IP).

As of 9:41 AM on the 7th, Aizic Land is trading at 73,900 KRW, up 7.57% from the previous day.

The ‘Arm Total Design’ program is an ecosystem aimed at accelerating and facilitating system development based on Arm Neoverse CSS through joint collaboration among industry leaders. Arm plans to lead industry-wide initiatives such as system architecture that will enable innovation in chiplet-based multi-chip SoCs.

Through the modular Arm Neoverse CSS solution, semiconductor development customers can fully leverage the advantages and ecosystem of the Arm Neoverse-based platform, allowing them to focus on SoC and system-level development. This saves time and resources. It is expected to develop chips more affordably and quickly compared to individual IP solutions.

Aizic Land is expected to gain a competitive edge over rivals in design capabilities at cutting-edge processes such as 5nm, 3nm, and 2nm by pioneering and platformizing high-performance SoC solutions in advanced fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, 5G, and high-performance computing (HPC). Global customer acquisition is anticipated in various AI semiconductor sectors including advanced automotive semiconductors, data centers, and high-performance computing semiconductors.

Jongmin Lee, CEO of Aizic Land, emphasized, "With the adoption of Arm Neoverse CSS, we will be able to provide more innovative design services to our customers. Based on the technology secured through collaboration in the Arm Total Design program, I believe Aizic Land will have the competitiveness to meet the demands of diverse customers in the US, Japan, Taiwan, China, and other regions."

Sunwook Hwang, President of Arm Korea, stated, "Through cooperation with Aizic Land, we will actively support domestic cutting-edge semiconductor development customers to focus on differentiation and innovation at low cost and quickly enter the market without trial and error."

Arm launched CSS in August last year. It is differentiated by integrating all elements that make up existing Arm design products and CPUs. As the AI era begins, interconnect technology connecting chips and memory (DRAM, HBM, etc.) has become important. Recently, chiplet technology, which connects each die of a chip to deliver stronger performance, has attracted attention. In the past, fabless companies had to create other components themselves, but CSS supports everything at once and is provided as a single integrated license package delivered as synthesizable RTL after functional and performance verification. It integrates system management, power management, software, and development tools to quickly deliver solutions with excellent performance-optimized computing to the market.

Aizic Land is a design house in the TSMC value chain. Sungkyu Heo, a researcher at Shinhan Investment Corp., assessed, "Considering TSMC’s market share of over 90% in advanced processes below 7nm and its workforce about four times larger than Samsung Electronics Foundry, TSMC’s foundry dominance is expected to continue." He added, "Aizic Land is expected to improve its performance this year due to increased orders for AI SoC and automotive development, and is expanding its sales network to the US and Taiwan while securing Analog IP."
