Shin Jang-sik: "Constituency seats for the Democratic Party, proportional representation for the Joguk Innovation Party... Not an alliance but role division"

"No Competition with the Democratic Party in Constituencies"... Focus on Judging the Yoon Administration
Choguk Innovation Party's General Election Goal is 12 Seats

Regarding the possibility of an alliance between the Joguk Innovation Party and the Democratic Party of Korea, Shin Jang-sik, the first recruited talent of the Joguk Innovation Party, stated on the 6th that it is more appropriate to view it as a division of roles rather than an alliance. He said, "Please vote for the Democratic Party in the constituencies and for the Joguk Innovation Party in the proportional representation," adding, "To judge the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, you can choose the lineup for the general election that looks solid and good."

On the same day, on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' Shin said, "The Joguk Innovation Party and the Democratic Party are separate yet together," and "There will be no competition with the Democratic Party in the constituencies." He added, "If we strictly define it as an alliance, it might be burdensome for the Democratic Party, so I want to call it cooperation or division of roles that creates synergy," and claimed, "Voters who come out to vote for the Joguk Innovation Party will vote for the Democratic Party in the constituencies."

Regarding the Joguk Innovation Party's constituency nomination policy, he explained, "The Democratic Party's constituency nominations are already in the final stages, so it will be difficult to unify through primaries here," and "If the Democratic Party does not field candidates in difficult or dangerous districts, there is still a possibility that the Joguk Innovation Party can try there." He continued, "However, since nominations have already ended and the main game has effectively started, we will not say 'let's try there' now," and said, "The one-on-one contests in the constituencies will be between the People Power Party and the unified opposition candidate, which is mostly the Democratic Party."

He also said that they plan to employ the 'Hagikjin' tactic in this general election. Hagikjin is a battle formation used by General Yi Sun-sin when fighting the Japanese navy off Hansando Island. Shin explained, "Joguk Innovation Party leader Cho Kuk mentioned the Hagikjin story, which is a tactic where the hammer line leads the battle to lure the enemy, and the main force surrounds the enemy," emphasizing, "The Joguk Innovation Party will play the role of the hammer line, so the Democratic Party will completely encircle the enemy, dividing roles in this way." He added, "Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, also said 'We have to win together' during a meeting with Cho, so we took that as an okay," but added, "However, there was no discussion about the specific details of how to proceed."

Shin revealed that the Joguk Innovation Party's goal for the general election is 12 seats. He said, "If you give us 12 ships in this general election, we will become the hammer line of the Hagikjin and break through steadily," adding, "Leader Cho mentioned 10 seats, but I raised it a bit."
