Honam University Graduate School Orientation for New and Transfer International Students

Honam University Graduate School (Dean Kim Deok-mo) announced on the 5th that it held an orientation on the 4th at the International Conference Room in Building 7 for 85 newly admitted international graduate students.

The event was organized to welcome the newly admitted international graduate students and to assist them in their smooth academic and daily life. It included a welcome speech by Dean Kim Deok-mo, an introduction to the academic management and residence guidelines for international students, and detailed information to support their study abroad life.

In addition, So Yoon-hee, a foreign affairs cooperation officer from the Security Information Division of the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency, gave a lecture to help international students understand Korean laws for their safe study abroad experience.

Dean Kim Deok-mo urged, “I ask international students to comply well with Korean laws and to devote themselves to studying the Korean language.”

Joo In-young, Director of the Graduate School International Student Support Office, encouraged, “We will do our best to support and assist the academic life of international students, so let us all do our best in our respective roles.”
