Shinan Police Station Conducts 'Public-Private Joint Campaign for Traffic Accident Prevention'

Informing the Seriousness of Drunk Driving and Traffic Fatalities in Jeonnam

Shinan Police Station (Chief Lee Eul-shin) announced on the 5th that on the 4th, a traffic safety campaign to raise awareness about drunk driving and the seriousness of traffic fatalities in Jeonnam was held in front of Aphae Samgeori in Aphae-eup, Shinan-gun, with 40 participants from related organizations including Shinan County Office, Aphae-eup Office, the Autonomous Crime Prevention Unit, and Model Drivers.

During the campaign, each organization used banners, placards, and traffic safety promotional materials to conduct publicity activities aimed at drivers and pedestrians to prevent traffic fatalities by promoting compliance with traffic laws, focusing on major causes of accidents such as drunk driving, signal violations, and pedestrian protection.


Lee Eul-shin, Chief of Shinan Police Station, stated, “To prevent traffic accidents (fatalities), all functions of Shinan Police will respond with full force through guidance, enforcement, publicity, and education to protect the lives, bodies, and property of the residents.”


Meanwhile, Shinan Police plans to continue promoting traffic safety culture campaigns and other initiatives in cooperation with related organizations to reduce traffic fatalities.
