The city decided to support the expenses for using emergency vehicles (ambulances from medical institutions and private transportation companies) when emergency patients are transferred from local medical institutions to regional emergency medical centers or advanced general hospitals within the province.

The support targets children and adolescents (0-18 years old), basic livelihood security recipients, and lower-income groups registered as residents of Jeongeup City as of the transfer date. The support amount will be provided up to a maximum of 150,000 KRW based on distance payment standards. The support period lasts until the budget is exhausted.

Applications can be submitted by the patient or their guardian to the city health center within 60 days from the transfer date, along with supporting documents.

For more details, inquiries can be made to the Medical Management Team at Jeongeup City Health Center.

A city official stated, “We will continue to pay attention to citizens' safety and health and do our best to protect precious lives.”
