Pukyong National University Welcomes 431 International Freshmen from 44 Countries

February 29 University Theater, First Semester Foreign Freshmen Orientation

National Pukyong University (President Jang Young-su) held the 2024 Spring Semester Orientation for International Freshmen on February 29th in the university theater.

Foreign freshmen who enrolled at the National Pukyong University are taking a group commemorative photo.

This semester, 431 international freshmen from 44 countries including China, Japan, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Uzbekistan enrolled at Pukyong University. Starting with this orientation, they began their courses in graduate school, undergraduate programs, exchange programs, and language training.

The International Exchange Headquarters of National Pukyong University (Head Kim Hyun-woo) conducted programs for the international freshmen attending the orientation, including a welcome ceremony, academic and campus life guidance, education on understanding Korean laws, and a campus tour.

As of October last year, National Pukyong University has 1,729 international students from 72 countries enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, integrated master's and doctoral programs, exchange programs, and language training courses.
