On the morning of the 4th, Dongyang Life held an inauguration ceremony for its new CEO, Lee Moon-gu, at the Dongyang Life headquarters located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The ceremony, held in the company cafeteria with about 150 employees attending, proceeded in a relaxed atmosphere with the introduction of the CEO, an inaugural speech, and a Q&A session with the staff.
In his inauguration speech, CEO Lee emphasized, "We will maximize profits by building a stable and solid profit structure, which is the foundation for sustainable growth through scale expansion," and stressed, "We must grow Dongyang Life into a top-tier insurance company."
CEO Lee also stated, "The sales division will prioritize establishing systems and personnel for developing ‘good products,’ the core of sales, aiming for quality growth," and emphasized, "The asset management division must achieve stable yet competitive returns through the establishment of an efficient asset management system."
As a foundation for sustainable growth, CEO Lee highlighted the importance of building a positive corporate culture through 'communication' and 'mutual respect' within the organization. He said, "I will perform my duties as CEO by communicating directly with employees," and added, "I will diligently and humbly listen to any suggestions or opinions for the company and organization, no matter how small the voice."
Emphasizing work efficiency for employees, CEO Lee produced and presented his inaugural speech as a video created using ChatGPT. He also outlined the future direction for work innovation that employees should pursue.
Born in 1965, CEO Lee joined Dongyang Life in 1992 and has served as head of the Corporate Insurance Agency (GA) business unit, head of the sales headquarters, and chief marketing officer, among other roles.
