Recruitment of Two Multi-Child Families for Transfer to Seoha Elementary School

Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting 2 households for purchase rental housing for families transferring to Seoha Elementary School within the district.

The Seoha-myeon purchase rental housing was established in 2021 through a public-private collaboration between Hamyang-gun, Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), and the Seoha Elementary School Student Safety Committee to save Seoha Elementary School, which was facing closure. Out of a total of 12 households, this time 2 multi-child households (73㎡ type) are being recruited.

The Seoha-myeon purchase rental housing offers affordable rent at 30-40% of the market price and includes a children's library and a community space for residents within the complex, resulting in high tenant satisfaction.

In particular, it features a zero-energy specialized design with very high energy efficiency ratings, and provides approximately 15㎡ of garden space per household for natural experiences, tailored to the characteristics of rural housing.

Eligibility requires being a member of a household without a home, raising two or more minor children (including unborn), with a monthly average household income below 70% of the median and meeting the national rental asset criteria for multi-child families. The contract period is 2 years, and if eligibility is maintained, it can be extended up to 9 times for a maximum residence of 20 years.
