Lee Nak-yeon Postpones Candidacy Press Conference... "There Are Tasks to Expand Democratic Forces"

Saeroun Mirae announced on the 2nd, "We are temporarily postponing Representative Lee's candidacy press conference," adding, "There is an urgent matter that must be addressed beforehand to unite and expand the democratic forces." They further stated, "Representative Lee's press conference will take place within a few days."

Previously, Representative Lee was scheduled to hold a press conference at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju on the 3rd to declare his candidacy for the general election. The Gwangju Seo-eul district is among the mentioned constituencies.

It appears that Representative Lee postponed the press conference amid speculation that additional incumbent lawmakers from the anti-Lee Jae-myung faction within the Democratic Party might defect due to conflicts over party nominations.
