Professor Jo Subum of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Awarded Minister of Education Commendation

Professor Jo Subum of the Department of Fire Safety Management at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) was selected as a meritorious person for the 2023 Specialized College Innovation Support Project at the ‘2023 Specialized College Innovation Support Project Performance Expansion Forum’ held on the 19th at the Daegu Hotel Inter-Burgo Convention Hall, and received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.

Professor Jo Subum was highly evaluated for his contribution to the activation and performance creation of the Specialized College Innovation Support Project as the deputy head of the University Innovation Support Project Group and the Local Specialized College Revitalization Project Group.

In particular, he planned and established an AI Center to educate and disseminate artificial intelligence technology to students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community, and worked to build a job and startup cooperation platform for nurturing residential-type talent in the Busan area.
