On the early morning of the 29th, rain or snow is expected to fall along the southern coast of Chungnam, the Jeolla coast, and the southern coast of Gyeongnam.

On the same day in the morning, precipitation will expand to the entire southern region and the inland areas of southern Chungcheong, continuing until night.

Expected precipitation amounts are forecasted as follows: Jeju 10?40 mm, Gwangju, Jeonnam, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam 5?20 mm, Daegu and Gyeongbuk 5?10 mm, Jeonbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo around 5 mm, and Daejeon, southern Chungnam, and southern Chungbuk around 1 mm.

Snowfall is expected to be 3?10 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju, 1?5 cm in the high mountains of western inland Gyeongnam, and 1?3 cm in the high mountains of eastern inland Jeonnam and eastern Jeonbuk.

Temperatures are forecasted to range from a morning low of -2°C to 6°C and a daytime high of 6?10°C, which is similar to the average temperatures for this time of year.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures in major cities are: Seoul 3°C and 9°C, Incheon 3°C and 8°C, Daejeon 2°C and 9°C, Gwangju 5°C and 7°C, Daegu 2°C and 7°C, Ulsan 4°C and 7°C, and Busan 6°C and 9°C. After the low-pressure system bringing rain passes, cold air will descend from the northwest, causing temperatures to drop sharply.

On March 1st, Samiljeol (Independence Movement Day), most regions will experience subzero temperatures in the morning. During the day, temperatures will remain around 0°C in the central regions and around 5°C in the southern regions, maintaining cold conditions.

Sea conditions are also expected to be rough. From the morning of the 29th, strong winds and waves 2?4 meters high will occur in the southern offshore waters of Jeju and the outer southern waters of the South Sea. From the afternoon of the 29th, strong winds will blow and waves will rise in the offshore waters of the South Sea, the coastal waters in front of Jeju, and the southern offshore waters of the southern West Sea. High waves are also forecasted in the remaining West Sea areas from the night of the 29th.
