The Korea Credit Finance Association is reopening the call for presidential candidates.
The Association's Presidential Candidate Recommendation Committee announced on the 28th that it will accept applications for the president until the 6th of next month.
Initially, former Financial Supervisory Service Director Kim Taekyung was nominated as the next presidential candidate, but he did not receive employment approval from the Public Officials Ethics Committee.
After the first round of document screening, a shortlist of candidates will be selected, followed by interviews to determine the final candidate. The Association plans to present the presidential appointment agenda at the general meeting attended by all member companies on the 29th of next month.
