Gyeongnam Information University held the 2024 academic year entrance ceremony on the afternoon of the 27th at the Minseok Sports Center on campus.
The ceremony was attended by about 1,500 people, including new students and their parents, Park Dongsun, Chairman of the Dongseo Academy Foundation, Kim Taesang, President of Gyeongnam Information University, Choi Wonil, President of Busan Digital University, and Kang Jeongho, President of the Alumni Association.
In his entrance ceremony speech, President Kim Taesang said, “Admission is a new beginning,” and urged, “Gyeongnam Information University has prepared a lot for your success, so please show the will and effort to open a new future by using the past time as nourishment.”
In his encouragement speech, Chairman Park Dongsun said, “I hope you meet good friends and good teachers at university,” and added, “I hope you become students who dream as high as the sky and take one step ahead with new ideas that others have not thought of.”
The event proceeded in the order of history and academic report, declaration of admission approval, entrance oath by representatives of new students, scholarship certificate awarding, and KIT happiness delivery ceremony.
