'Jinan Plateau Rustic Village Travel' Project Briefing Held

County, Village Creation Foundation... Operation of Independent Village Travel Events

Jinan-gun, Jeonbuk, and the Jinan-gun Village Making Support Center announced that they held a project briefing session for the Jinan Plateau Rustic Village Travel at the Duwon Village Experience Center in Baegun-myeon on the 28th.

According to Jinan-gun, the session was conducted for about 30 people, including the chairpersons, managers, and staff of 10 villages participating in the "2024 Jinan Plateau Rustic Village Travel Revitalization Project."

This briefing session featured presentations by Kim Kyung-min, an officer from the Rural Vitality Division of Jinan-gun Office, on the promotion plan for the Jinan Plateau Rustic Village Travel Revitalization Project, the operation plan for rural activists, and the certification review of new experience events in Duwon Village.

Started in 2018, the program is a self-organized rural tourism event linked with Jinan-gun's specialized village-making policies. It connects 10 excellent rural experience and recreation villages in the region. The villages include Wonnyeonjang, Oesayang, Sanggamak, Hagamak, Bonggok, Duwon, Podong, Hwanggeum Area, Hakdong, and Majo.

The program offers village-making case lectures, experience events, village tours, village meals, and village accommodation programs. It is highly regarded for contributing to the creation of joint village income and the revitalization of the community.

Kim Sa-heum, head of the Rural Vitality Division, said, "This year, we will develop a lodging stay-type planned product for the general public and, at the same time, promote and sell products in connection with the Jinan Plateau Mall," adding, "We will strive to make Jinan-gun sustainable by creating joint village income and revitalizing village communities."
