On the 26th, Park caused controversy by echoing panelists' calls to exclude former Chief of Staff Im on the pro-Myeong YouTube channel 'Lee Dong-hyung TV.' In the video, when panelists said things like "I don't know about other things, but Im Jong-seok is not acceptable," and "Why are we dragging Im Jong-seok's story for so long," Park said, "We might reach a conclusion by tomorrow," and "Let's make a fresh start."
In particular, he said, "There is also the aspect that Chief Im Jong-seok is making unreasonable demands to the party," and "It is certain that we need to put an end to the ongoing conflict." These remarks were interpreted as effectively hinting at a cut-off of former Chief Im. In fact, the party's strategic nomination committee excluded former Chief Im from the nomination for the Jung-gu Seongdong-gu Gap district in Seoul the day after the broadcast, on the 27th.
