Samsung Electronics announced on the 28th that its security solution 'Samsung Knox' applied to the 2024 model TVs has obtained the 'Common Criteria (CC)' international certification.

Since applying Samsung Knox, the industry's top-level security solution, to its 2015 model TVs, Samsung Electronics has received CC certification for 10 consecutive years.

The 2024 Samsung TV further proved its global security reliability by verifying the enhanced security features of Samsung Knox.

CC certification is an international standard for evaluating the security of IT products, mutually recognized by 31 countries worldwide.

The security features of Samsung Knox verified by this CC certification are threefold. First, it monitors in real-time whether the Tizen OS, Samsung TV's operating system, is being hacked. Second, Samsung Knox preemptively checks and blocks phishing websites when accessing websites via the Samsung TV web browser. Lastly, together with 'Knox Vault' installed on the Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV, it protects users' sensitive personal information more securely.

With this CC certification, Samsung TV has been recognized for secure connectivity with Samsung Knox Vault, further strengthening the standards of TV security in both software and hardware aspects.
