On the morning of the 27th, Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, visited Sinil Daycare Center located in Singil-dong together with Han Hwa-jin, Minister of Environment, to inspect the fine dust management site.
To prepare for the occurrence of fine dust in spring, Mayor Choi, Minister Han Hwa-jin, and officials from the Korea Environment Corporation visited the site together to check the air quality management status of facilities for vulnerable groups to fine dust.
On this day, Mayor Choi checked the eco-friendly cooking equipment supported by the district and fine dust-related facilities to understand the fine dust management status of Sinil Daycare Center.
Mayor Choi Ho-gwon stated, “In preparation for the upcoming spring fine dust occurrence, we must protect the health of children and the elderly more thoroughly,” and added, “We will continue to make efforts to provide safer living spaces by preparing various support measures for vulnerable groups to fine dust to reduce fine dust and improve air quality.”
