She collected a victory trophy after a long time, showing her former form. On the 25th, at the Siam Country Club Old Course (Par 72, 6,576 yards) near Chonburi, close to Pattaya, Thailand, she secured a one-stroke victory at the LPGA Tour Honda Thailand (total prize money $1.7 million). This is her second career win, three years after winning the major ANA Inspiration in April 2021, with a winner's prize of $255,000 (approximately 340 million KRW). It is her second consecutive win in two weeks following last week's Ladies European Tour (LET) Aramco Ladies International.

Tawatnakit debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2020 as a 'special rookie.' She became the 'Major Queen' in 2021, winning Rookie of the Year and the Rolex Annika Major Award. However, she did not achieve good results over the past two years. In the money rankings, she was 60th in 2022 ($429,664) and 57th last year ($497,303).

Before the new season, Tawatnakit changed her equipment. She put the Titleist TSR2 driver in her caddie bag. The power of the new weapon was tremendous. During the Honda Thailand tournament, she averaged 284 yards over four days. Her maximum distance was 287 yards. On par-5 holes, she collected 1 eagle and 11 birdies. Thanks to her powerful long drives, she hunted down consecutive birdies and ended her victory drought.
