Korean startup MuseLive (CEO Seok Cheol) announced the launch of ‘KiT Photo Album Cues,’ a photo-sharing service using KiT, in Japan.
Unveiled at CP+2024, the world’s largest camera event held from February 22 to 25 at Pacifico Yokohama in Japan, ‘KiT Photo Album Cues’ is a product combining MuseLive’s technology from Korea and the expertise accumulated by Fujifilm Imaging Systems in Japan, attracting significant attention on-site. It is especially meaningful as the first collaborative result publicly revealed since the joint business agreement between MuseLive and Fujifilm Imaging Systems in February 2024.
Offering a tangible ownership experience along with social features, ‘KiT Photo Album Cues’ allows users to store over 400 photos in the cloud and leave comments via a dedicated app with others who own the same photo album. While physical albums using KiT have been familiar in Korea since 2017 through K-pop artists’ kit albums, this is the first time a photo album service using KiT has been introduced. The service is expected to gain great popularity as it targets the 10-30 age group in Japan.
A Fujifilm representative in Japan described ‘KiT Photo Album Cues’ as “the first photo-sharing service using KiT by a camera manufacturer, designed for people who want to privately share and communicate photos with colleagues, friends, or loved ones.”
‘KiT Photo Album Cues,’ enhanced by Korean startup technology, is scheduled to launch in Japan from the end of March.
