About two years ago, Ok Ji-won, former vice chairwoman of the People Power Party's Central Women's Committee who raised allegations of sexual bribery against Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform New Party, joined the Reform New Party and posted on Facebook on the 17th, saying, "I sincerely apologize for my remark about a woman's intuition."

Ok wrote, "I am trying to courageously resolve a burden I have long held in my heart," and "I sincerely apologize for my 'woman's intuition' remark directed at Leader Lee Jun-seok in the past." She deeply reflected, saying, "I bitterly regret that I myself caused the gender conflict that I so disliked." She added, "I, who criticized Leader Lee more than anyone else for treating politics like a game, realized that I was the one who insensitively commented on the violent oppression he endured as if betting money in gambling, thus treating politics like a game."

She continued, "Although I have never met him even once, through my relationship with Leader Lee Jun-seok, I have gained great lessons in politics." She also asked, "Why didn’t you get angry at me (at that time)?" and praised him, saying, "He gave me the political freedom to think differently from himself, and I could feel that liberal respect." She confessed her deep affection repeatedly, saying, "I saw aspects of Leader Lee Jun-seok that others failed to notice. I do not hate politician Lee Jun-seok; on the contrary, I have come to like him."

In 2022, when allegations of sexual bribery against Leader Lee Jun-seok surfaced, Ok posted on Facebook, "I clearly remember the post Lee Jun-seok made on Facebook. It said, 'Kang Yong-seok's claim is false,' but with a woman's intuition, I instinctively thought, 'Ah, this person did it.' A woman's intuition is not a baseless feeling but 'big data that detects nonsense in advance,' accumulated through a lifetime of experience with men. The People Power Party must decisively punish Lee Jun-seok, the winner. Half of this country, the women, and this society can never accept such a person."

Regarding Ok’s post, the New Future faction, which recently split from the Reform New Party, evaluated it as "a confession letter forced by Leader Lee Jun-seok." Park Won-seok, head of the New Future faction, appeared on MBN YouTube's "Underworld - I am a Politician" on the 22nd and criticized, "In the case of a female party official of the People Power Party who criticized Leader Lee, she issued an embarrassing confession letter. I don’t know if they are satisfied watching that, but such things should not happen in democracy."

After the broadcast, Ok claimed on Facebook, "Head Park’s remarks are not true," and said, "I voluntarily wrote it because I thought it was necessary to clarify my position on past remarks, and there was no pressure whatsoever."
