Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is preparing a session to gather residents' opinions regarding the payment standard amount for council members' legislative activity expenses.
The district announced on the 24th that it will hold a public hearing for residents to decide on the legislative activity expenses of the Gwangsan District Council at 4 p.m. on the 6th of next month at the Suwan Culture and Sports Center.
Legislative activity expenses are allowances paid separately from the monthly fixed allowance, which is the concept of an annual salary paid to council members, and consist of expenses for collecting legislative materials, research funds, and auxiliary activity expenses.
Any resident can participate and provide various opinions on the payment standard amount for legislative activity expenses.
An ID card must be brought when participating in the event.
