Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group Holds 'DSU PASTEL Startup Club Performance Report Meeting'

Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) LINC 3.0 Project Group recently held the ‘2023 DSU PASTEL Startup Club Performance Report Meeting’ at Nongshim Hotel.

The '2023 DSU PASTEL Startup Club Performance Presentation' where awards were given to students.

This event was held as part of efforts to spread startup culture and promote startup activation, to share the achievements of students participating in the PASTEL Startup Club support program and to encourage the participating students.

At the final performance report meeting, participating students presented their projects, and awards were given to students who showed outstanding achievements.

The awards were divided into club and individual categories, with 13 clubs and 3 individuals receiving awards. In the club category, the Grand Prize went to 1 team (Jikimi), the Excellence Award to 2 teams (SD4G, Dronejo), the Merit Award to 3 teams (SmartAIot, Aurora potion, VIT Club), and the Encouragement Award to 4 teams (CREATIVITY, Seokaprio, GyroLift, Manoko). In the individual category, the Grand Prize was awarded to 1 person (Hong Seong-min, Department of Artificial Intelligence Applications), the Excellence Award to 1 person (Bae Ye-jin, Department of Webtoon), and the Merit Award to 1 person (Jo Yoon-kyung, Department of Webtoon).

Through this event, the passion and efforts of students toward startups were confirmed, and Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group plans to continue its efforts to support creative and challenging students and to activate the startup ecosystem.

Hwang Gi-hyeon, head of the LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, “I am very pleased and proud to directly experience and see the creativity and passion of students through the final performance presentation of the startup clubs. The students’ efforts and results will greatly help to further activate our university’s startup ecosystem.”
