[News] Jeong Cheon-gi, Yonhap News Executive Director, Receives '2024 Geon-guk Journalist Award'

The Konkuk University Alumni Association of Journalists announced on the 22nd that they selected Jeong Cheon-gi, Executive Director of Yonhap News Agency, as the recipient of the '2024 Konkuk Journalist Award' and held an award ceremony. The ceremony took place at the '2024 Konkuk University Alumni Association of Journalists General Meeting' held the previous evening at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Executive Director Jeong graduated from Konkuk University with a degree in Korean Literature and has served as head of the Culture Department and Director of Management Support at Yonhap News Agency. He is currently serving as Executive Director of Business Planning. At the general meeting, Park Jin-hyun, Head of Current Affairs Production at KBS News Headquarters, was elected as the new president for a two-year term.
