Jangseong-gun to Offer Free Rental of Handwashing Educational View Boxes Starting Next Month on the 4th

On the 22nd, the Health Center of Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will operate a free rental service for the 'Correct Handwashing Educational View Box' from the 4th of next month until December 20th.

When hands coated with fluorescent lotion are washed and then placed under the view box, you can see the parts that were not properly washed glowing.

Education is conducted by learning the 'correct handwashing' method and then using the view box again to check the cleanliness of the hands.

The support targets include local daycare centers, kindergartens, community child centers, schools, medical institutions, and infection-vulnerable facilities.

Last year, the county also promoted the 'view box' rental project, providing education to 331 people across 14 locations.

The view box can be rented for up to one week per facility, and fluorescent lotion, educational materials, and promotional items necessary for the education are also provided.

Applications can be made by contacting the Infectious Disease Response Team at the Jangseong-gun Health Center.
