Dongseo University, LINC 3.0 Outstanding Student Scholarship Award Ceremony

Discovering Students Creating Their Own Growth Stories

25 Students Selected Through Screening, Awarded Scholarships

Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) LINC 3.0 Project Group held the ‘2023 LINC 3.0 Outstanding Student Scholarship Award Ceremony’ to present scholarships to students who participated in the 2023 LINC 3.0 project, developed their capabilities, and achieved excellent results.

At this event, a total of 25 students (1 Grand Prize, 4 Excellence Awards, 10 Merit Awards, 10 Encouragement Awards) were selected and awarded scholarships.


The prestigious Grand Prize was awarded to Seo Nuri, a third-year student in the Department of Broadcasting and Video at the College of Media Content, who participated in various programs operated by the LINC 3.0 Project Group such as Capstone Design, Class Selling®, Standard Field Practice, and Competitions, achieving outstanding results.


Student Seo Nuri produced many achievements including documentary production in the Capstone Design class, media issue analysis, live studio broadcast production, ESG content production with Hwasung Group, investigative reporting practice, promotional video production practice for Sale Global, completion of IFS1, production of content related to the Dong-gu area of Busan, and creating a video celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hwasung Group and depicting its history.


Additionally, through the Standard Field Practice semester, Seo interned at KBS Busan News Department, where she worked on producing the ‘Back to the News’ video by re-editing KBS news archive footage in a modern style, created dialect dubbing content for the KBS drama ‘Youth of May,’ and planned and executed an intern balance game video, all utilizing the LINC 3.0 program to develop her own capabilities.


Hwang Gi-hyun, head of Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, stated, “I am pleased that students have participated in various programs of the LINC 3.0 project, developed their capabilities, achieved good results, and grown into talents with improved practical skills and expertise. We will continue to strive to support and provide high-quality educational programs and environments so that students can develop their capabilities.”
