Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Holds 8th Graduation Ceremony for Visiting Nurse Assistant Training Program

Gyeongnam Information University Lifelong Education Center held the 8th graduation ceremony for the Visiting Nurse Assistant Training Course on the 20th at the K-Medical Center Art Hall.

Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Holds 8th Graduation Ceremony for Visiting Nurse Assistant Training Program On the 20th, Gyeongnam Information University Lifelong Education Center held the 8th graduation ceremony for the Visiting Nursing Assistant Training Course.

About 80 people, including Joo Chun-hee, president of the Busan Nurse Assistant Association, and officials from the Lifelong Education Center, attended the ceremony, and certificates were awarded to all 63 trainees.


The trainees completed a curriculum consisting of 360 hours of theoretical education, 100 hours of lab practice, and 240 hours of hospital and public health center practice. After graduation, they are qualified to work as visiting nurse assistants and will serve as long-term care workers providing nursing, medical assistance, and counseling related to care through home visits to beneficiaries under the Elderly Long-Term Care Insurance Act.


Jung Yoo-ji, director of the Lifelong Education Center, said, “I congratulate and thank the trainees who did their best until the end while enduring the challenging training schedule,” and encouraged them by saying, “I hope you become the core of Busan’s visiting nurse assistants supporting the healthy lives of the elderly.”


Gyeongnam Information University Lifelong Education Center is currently recruiting for the 10th class of the Visiting Nurse Assistant Training Course.
