Yesty Secures Initial Order for HBM Equipment from NVIDIA Partner Company... "Successful Diversification of Clients and Product Lines"

Yesty, a semiconductor equipment specialist company, announced on the 22nd that it has received an initial order for 'EDS Furnace' equipment applied in the production process of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) from a key partner of NVIDIA, the world's leading artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor company. With this order, Yesty has succeeded in diversifying its client base for HBM equipment following its existing supply to global semiconductor companies.

EDS Furnace equipment is an essential facility used in the 'EDS (Electrical Die Sorting) process' that inspects the quality of stacked pre-wafers for HBM production. The EDS process determines the normality of wafers used for HBM through rapid heat treatment using the EDS Furnace equipment. The EDS Furnace is a critical device directly linked not only to the performance of HBM but also to production yield.

Based on its proprietary heat treatment technology, Yesty is the only domestic semiconductor equipment company supplying furnace equipment for the EDS process. Since competition among global semiconductor companies in the HBM market is intense, the company expects an increase in orders for EDS Furnace equipment following this initial order.

A Yesty representative stated, “The delivery of major HBM equipment such as 'wafer pressing equipment' and 'EDS chillers' for global semiconductor companies, ordered in the fourth quarter of last year, is progressing smoothly,” and added, “With the expansion of HBM investments by existing clients, additional orders for HBM equipment are expected to continue this year.”

He continued, “The initial batch of EDS Furnace equipment is scheduled for sequential delivery starting in April. This order not only diversifies the client base for HBM equipment, a core product in the semiconductor business division, but also enables stable sales growth due to the expansion of supplied product items,” emphasizing, “Following the turnaround to profitability centered on HBM equipment in the core business last year, this year’s significant growth in performance is expected as orders and deliveries of HBM equipment become full-scale.”
