Yoo Junhee, Student of Department of Tourism Management at National Mokpo University, Receives Korean Tourism Association President's Award

Student Yujunhee Demonstrates Leadership in Various Activities, Achieving Outstanding Results

The Department of Tourism Management at Mokpo National University (President Song Ha-cheol) announced on the 21st that student Yoo Jun-hee, who is currently in the 4th year, received the 'Korean Tourism Association President's Award.'

The 'Korean Tourism Association President's Award' is given by the Korean Tourism Association to students who have excellent academic performance, actively engage in external activities serving as role models, and are expected to lead the future of the Korean tourism industry.

Student Yoo Jun-hee has excelled not only in their major (GPA 4.3) and English studies (TOEIC 910) but also demonstrated leadership in various on-campus activities such as being a student researcher in the Local Content Focus University project, team leader of the summer overseas cultural scholarship training, and retail team leader of the pop-up store 'Dorim 1946 Hotel for Students,' achieving outstanding results.

Professor Lee Jin-hyung of the Department of Tourism Management at Mokpo National University said, “As a student preparing for this year’s Korea Tourism Organization entrance exam, receiving the Korean Tourism Association President's Award will be a meaningful honor for Yoo Jun-hee to build a career in the tourism field. I actively recommended this student as a recipient of the award.” He added, “In the future, the department’s professors will continue to support many students from Mokpo National University’s Department of Tourism Management to actively engage in the tourism sector.”
