Real Estate Rights Analysis, Sales Consultation, and Lease Management in 8 Fields
The Korea Association of Realtors announced on the 20th that it will operate a 'Private Certification Education Program' to enhance the professionalism of licensed real estate agents.
The Private Certification Education Program is designed for certified real estate agents holding a realtor license and offers specialized knowledge in a total of eight fields: ▲Real Estate Rights Analyst ▲Real Estate Sales Consultant ▲Real Estate Lease Manager ▲Real Estate Information Analyst ▲Pungsu Consultant ▲Residential Real Estate Analyst ▲Commercial Real Estate Analyst ▲Land Development Analyst. This program is operated separately from the statutory education currently provided by the association for licensed real estate agents and brokerage assistants, which includes practical training, job training, refresher courses, and specialized education.
This program benchmarks the education program of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in the United States. To enhance member professionalism, NAR subdivides real estate types and tasks into residential, commercial, land, etc., and independently conducts specialized education and certification to improve the quality of brokerage services. The association has prepared a practice-oriented program tailored to domestic circumstances and, since September 2022, has added training courses to the internal private certification operation regulations while focusing on assembling expert instructors for each certification field.

Those who complete the nine-week course in each field and pass the certification exam will be awarded a private certification certificate.
Lee Jong-hyuk, president of the Korea Association of Realtors, stated, "As competition for survival in the brokerage field intensifies and jeonse fraud becomes increasingly sophisticated, the importance of professionalism is growing," adding, "This program will greatly help improve the practical skills of licensed real estate agents."
