Hwaseong-si Supports Small Business Owners with 'Management Environment Improvement' Project

This project aims to enhance competitiveness by supporting business environment improvement costs to respond to consumer demand for small business owners within the city.

The support target is small business owners who have been established in Hwaseong City for more than six months and had sales of 300 million KRW or less last year. The city plans to support about 100 businesses this year.

The support areas are divided into two categories: ▲store environment improvement and ▲system improvement. The store environment improvement support includes ▲signboard replacement ▲interior improvement ▲fire extinguishing and security equipment ▲sterilization and disinfection equipment. The detailed support items for system improvement include ▲kiosks ▲smart order ▲purchase of POS devices and programs ▲purchase of CCTV devices and programs.

Store environment improvement is supported up to a maximum of 2.5 million KRW, and system improvement up to a maximum of 3.5 million KRW. Overlapping applications for support in different areas are not allowed, but within the maximum limit per area, overlapping support for detailed items is possible.

The support covers 100% of the supply price, and any costs exceeding the support amount and value-added tax must be borne by the applicant. Detailed information such as application forms and submission documents can be found on the Hwaseong City Hall website under the City Administration Notice section.

Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong City, stated, "We will strive to prepare more active support measures to stabilize the management of small business owners who are at the forefront of the local economy."
