Modification of Grand Prize Point Rules: Winner's Points Double Those of 2nd Place
Major Tournament Winning Points Increased from 70 to 100

The winner's points for the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Tour (KLPGT) will be significantly increased.

On the 16th, KLPGT announced, "Starting from the 2024 season, the points awarded based on tournament results will be realistically revised." Regarding the winner's points, the points awarded to the winner have been raised. The winner will receive double the points of the second place. For example, in the case of major tournaments, last year the winner received 70 points and the second place 52 points, but from this year, the winner will receive 100 points and the second place 50 points.

The winner's points for major tournaments have increased from 70 to 100 points. Accordingly, winning a major tournament will play a significant role in determining the overall season award recipient after the season ends. The KLPGA Tour will hold 30 tournaments this year with a total prize money of 32 billion KRW. The opening event is the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open (total prize money of 1.1 million Singapore dollars), held over four days starting March 7. The defending champion is Park Ji-young.
