Recruitment of 25 Houses for Former '2024 Green Parking Fence Removal Project'... 10 Million KRW per Parking Space, Additional 2 Million KRW per Extra Space, Up to 30 Million KRW Support... Installation Support for Unmanned Self-Defense System (CCTV) to Detect Day and Night External Intrusions
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that it is recruiting 25 households to participate in the '2024 Green Parking Fence Removal Project.'
The Green Parking Fence Removal Project is a program that secures parking spaces by removing fences and gates of houses to alleviate parking difficulties in alleyways.
Since 2004, a total of 1,567 households have participated in the Green Parking Fence Removal Project, securing 1,843 parking spaces. This year, 25 households will be recruited, and 30 new parking spaces will be created.
The project targets houses where fences and gates can be demolished to install parking lots in the yard, and parking spaces (2.5×5.0m) must be secured.
Starting this year, with increased subsidies, up to 10 million KRW per household is supported for one parking space, and an additional 2 million KRW per space is provided when creating two or more spaces. The construction will be carried out by professional companies selected by the district office.
Additionally, to address security concerns caused by fence removal, support is provided for installing unmanned self-security systems (CCTV) and security windows.
Residents who wish to participate in the '2024 Green Parking Fence Removal Project' can apply by visiting or calling the Traffic Guidance Division on the 13th floor of Dobong-gu Office for consultation.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “The Green Parking Fence Removal Project is an effective initiative that resolves parking difficulties in residential areas and reduces illegal parking in alleyways, thereby enhancing pedestrian safety and facilitating the smooth entry of emergency vehicles in case of fire or medical emergencies. We encourage active participation from residents.”
