Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the "On-site Meeting with Small Manufacturers" held at the "Seoul Metropolitan Small Manufacturer Specialized Support Center" located in Mullae-dong on the afternoon of the 15th.
The meeting was attended by Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, Oh Young-joo, Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the President of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the President of the Korea Small Manufacturers Association, and the President of the Seoul Small Manufacturers Association.
They explained the "2024 Basic Support Plan for Small Manufacturers," listened to suggestions regarding policy directions, and shared difficulties experienced by small manufacturers in their workplaces, fostering communication.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, "The Mullae-dong machinery and metal complex is the last remaining hub of the root industry in Seoul, where skilled artisans recognized for their technical expertise gather. We will continue ongoing discussions with related organizations to successfully complete the relocation of the complex and do our best to maintain the reputation of the root industry hub."
