Gijang-gun Conducts Special Inspection of Major Project Sites ... Accelerates Project Implementation

Busan Gijang-gun has been accelerating the progress of major ongoing projects in the area by conducting special inspections since the 14th of this month through March.

Jung Jong-bok, the head of Gijang County, conducting a special inspection of major ongoing projects.

This inspection targets key ongoing projects and facilities, including the 8th term public pledge projects, to closely monitor the progress and accurately diagnose issues in underperforming sites and devise solutions.

County Governor Jeong Jong-bok, along with directors, heads of relevant departments, and project stakeholders, participates in visiting 2 to 4 major project sites daily for intensive on-site inspections.

From the 14th to the 15th, the county completed inspections of major projects including ▲Gijang Yongsowellbeing Park (children's playground) ▲Munjung to Jwacheon road construction site ▲Jangan Healing Forest (access road construction) ▲Jeonggwan Sodubang Park (barefoot trail creation, construction of community centers in Banggok 1 and 3 villages).

By the 29th, inspections are planned for 30 major project sites including ▲Cheolma Urban Agriculture Park development ▲Gijang Sports Park development ▲Ilgwang Education Happiness Town development ▲Cheolma Maji Reservoir disaster prevention inspection ▲Jwagwangcheon Light Street project, with inspections continuing through March.

During this inspection period, the county plans to analyze issues at major project sites to expedite project progress and simultaneously check the safety and health management systems at each site to strengthen disaster prevention capabilities.

Governor Jeong Jong-bok emphasized, “All ongoing projects are promises to residents and important for the future of Gijang-gun,” and urged, “Please strive not only for smooth project implementation but also to devise ways to maximize effectiveness and enhance completeness.”
