KakaoBank (CEO Yoon Ho-young) and Global Sharing Movement (Chairman Kim Hye-kyung) are publicly recruiting 30 university student supporters for the first generation of the ‘KakaoBank Eco Challengers’ by February 21. Actress Lee Ga-eun will join as the ambassador for this activity.
This event includes trekking at Seonheul Gotjawal Dongbaeksan Ramsar Wetland with Ko Jae-ryang, chairman of the Jeju Ecotourism Association and a Ramsar Wetland expert, and experiencing various tree ecosystems in Jeju Island with Lee Dong-han, CEO of Maze Land. Afterwards, in the Han River area, protection activities for various living creatures, including otters residing in the Han River, will be conducted weekly throughout April, followed by an exploration of the life preservation area within the privately controlled DMZ in May.
Students selected as Challengers will carry out full-scale activities over approximately three months through Jeju Island biological explorations, Han River wildlife investigations, and the DMZ biodiversity camp.
