Geochang-gun Holds Completion Report Meeting for Shared Welfare Platform Construction Service

Website Developed to Provide a Comprehensive View of Dispersed Welfare Resources

On the 14th, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province held a completion report meeting for the Geochang-gun Shared Welfare Platform construction project at the county office situation room, attended by Deputy County Governor Lee Byung-cheol, senior officials, welfare-related organizations, and service company representatives.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the homepage menu composition and content following the platform construction, as well as on supplementary and revision matters through a demonstration of the welfare platform.

The Geochang-gun Shared Welfare Platform is a campaign pledge project of Governor Goo In-mo in the 8th term of the local government. Last March, through a welfare resource survey, the system was built by collecting welfare information from policies implemented by the government and private facilities.

The existing homepage consisted only of information provided by the county, but with the new system construction, various information provided by both public and private sectors can be viewed at a glance.

The Geochang Shared Welfare Platform is subdivided into seven fields such as childcare to make it easy to find welfare information from both public and private sectors, and the neighborhood welfare map allows location information to be searched by town and facility type.

Hope Hands allows anyone in need of help to write private posts, and sharing of welfare resources among welfare facilities is also possible. The homepage is scheduled to open in March.

Deputy County Governor Lee Byung-cheol said, “Once the Shared Welfare Platform is operational, it will be convenient to easily find information on private facilities,” and added, “I hope thorough promotion and management will be carried out to activate the system.”
